Bill Submission Deadlines

Deadlines for the East Tennessee Classic and the Rally Day Congress are January 15th!

Bill Submission Procedure

Please submit all bills through the CCT website.  Submission instructions may be found in the Student Congress section.

Bill Review and Selection Committee 

Bills will be reviewed from Jan. 5-16, 2010 for use at the next tournament hosting student congress.

The review and selection committee is comprised of seven individuals who review the bills for educational merit, potential argumentation on both sides of a topic, and constitutionality.    

Bill Announcements

Bills to be used at the next tournament hosting student congress will be posted on the CCT website on January 15, 2009.  (The Maryville Tournament and Huntsville Tournament may/may not host congress; the next tournament currently scheduled to host congress is the Davy Crockett Statesman Tournament in Nashville.)

Presiding Officer and Clerk Positions

Requests for these positions at the Davy Crockett Statesman Tournament will be accepted in January 30, 2010.  

If congress is offered at other tournaments it will be announced after January 15, 2010.

Requests for these positions can be made by completing the presiding officer/clerk form found below.   Submit the form via email to studentcongress09@gmail.com.

  Note: The term “bill”, used in the above statements covers both bills and resolutions submitted.
